Yountville’s 50th Anniversary

Stroll through the history of a small town while viewing this exhibit celebrating the 50^th anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Yountville. On February 4, 1965 Yountville became on official Town with its own charter and elected officials (the Town Council).  Yountville has a long history dating back to the early 1850s when its namesake, George C. Yount, laid out the first Town boundaries (originally named Sebastopol). Yountville’s 50^th is an exhibit chronicling the town’s rich history from the earliest settlers to the world-renowned town in which we now reside.
