Yountville’s 50th Anniversary

Experience 50 years of Yountville history with a historical timeline and artifacts from the Museum’s collection!

Stroll through the history of a small town while viewing this exhibit celebrating the 50th anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Yountville. On February 4, 1965 Yountville became on official Town with its own charter and elected officials (the Town Council).  Yountville has a long history dating back to the early 1850s when its namesake, George C. Yount, laid out the first Town boundaries (originally named Sebastopol). Yountville’s 50th is an exhibit chronicling the town’s rich history from the earliest settlers to the world-renowned town in which we now reside.
