My Andy
Photographs by Victoria Wyeth
First Gallery, The MAC
April 11, 2026 – September 13, 2026
Admission is included with The Wyeths: Three Generations admission
As the only grandchild of Andrew and Betsy Wyeth, Victoria Wyeth wears the mantle of the fourth generation of a renowned artistic lineage that began with her great-grandfather N. C. Wyeth and continues today with her uncle Jamie Wyeth. While the earlier generations of Wyeths painted, Victoria pursued photography, a medium previously unexplored by her family.
Victoria assiduously captured moments in her grandfather’s life—both intimate and spontaneous—that show a man at ease with himself and his family. She depicts his unique ability to inhabit the enchanted worlds he created.
Her exclusive ability to photograph her grandfather and his now iconic muses—both models and locations—form the exhibition, My Andy – Photographs by Victoria Wyeth. Presented at The MAC as a companion to the exhibition “The Wyeths: Three Generations | Works from the Bank of America Collection,” this photography exhibition complements and informs the larger exhibition of paintings, watercolors and drawings by N. C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth, Jamie Wyeth, Henriette Wyeth and Peter Hurd.
Victoria will be at The MAC in early August for a series of exhibition tours, lectures and events.
