Drawn from Life: Three Generations of Wyeth Figure Studies
In this companion piece to the Fenimore Art Museum exhibition Drawn From Life: Three Generations of Wyeth Figure Drawings, guest curator Victoria Wyeth provides a family perspective on N.C., Carolyn, Andrew, and Jamie Wyeth’s figurative work, informed by interviews with her uncle Jamie Wyeth and father Nicholas Wyeth. The catalog features 40 works from the exhibition, many never before displayed, and explores what it is like to grow-up in a family of artists and develop your own approach to the figure.
