In our Spotlight Gallery through June 5, 2022: Know NO Barriers: A juried show of work by high school students.
Students were asked to create art in response to the theme “Know NO Barriers”
A barrier is an obstacle or an obstruction in the process of things. It can be a system, a party, or even an individual. Barriers limit or prevent people from achieving their potential. What divides us? Whether it’s diversity, culture, sustainability, gender, or perceived societal norms, the inequities are often the reason why many people are left behind.
To Know no Barriers is to transcend the limitations faced and strive for a more equitable and hopeful future.
